Judy Parker - Tattoo Of The Week

Pacific Tattoo Artist, Judy Parker has been creating the most amazing sea life tattoos for more than 30 years in San Diego and at shows across the country. You will be able to see her in action at Sturgis 2010!

She is always on the lookout for quality professionals to work with at her shop and at shows. She is currently seeking contributions from artists for a flash project for the Alliance of Professional Tattooists for 2010. Details on her MySpace-Judy Parker.

Here's what a devoted fan says about her work: My dearly departed brother, Leonard "Ghost" Smith, first introduced me and my wife "Red" to Judy 15 years ago at "Tattoos & Blues" in Santa Rosa, and I am proud to say that I'm a collector of several judy Parker pieces! (including my family crest on my upper arm.)

But it's my wife Red who has become the TRUE artist's canvas for her ....including pieces on her back and arm, but its her legs that are truly amazing! From her knee to the top of her right foot is the most intricate and unique black and grey fairy collage you have ever seen!

Judy's personal faves are on Red's left leg: full color under sea scenes including her lionfish and a beautiful purple seahorse that stretchs over 2ft long from ankle to knee!

All this gorgous skin art has caused Red to get stopped on the street constantly! She is literaly stopped several times a day when she's wearing shorts or a skirt so people can admire and photograph them. They have also won BEST of SHOW awards.

Here's some advise - especialy to you ladies.  You and your tattoo are going to be together for the rest of your life, so don't wander into some generic "Pick it & Stick it" tattoo parlor and point to that same butterfly patern on the wall that literaly a MILLION other people already have on them!

Get yourself an original one of a kind piece of "skin art" that you will be proud to show off forever by world famous artist, Judy Parker, owner/artist at Pacific Tattoo, 3478 Main St, San Diego, CA 92113  Directions & Reviews

The Lone Star State’s loudest, proudest and most colossal motorcycle rally draws more than 350 top vendors from all over the country and boosts the Austin, Texas economy by an estimated $35 million.

The 16th Annual ROT Rally opens all day Thursday, June 10th and officially closes at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13th 2010 at Travis County Expo Center, 7311 Decker Lane, Austin, TX.

Live in concert on the main stage, Thursday night - Blue Oyster, Friday night - Blood Sweat & Tears, and Saturday night - Bret Michaels "Rock My World."

Friday Night Parade & Congress Party.

Rock star Dee Snider of Twisted Sister will lead a "Bikers For Babies" ride on Saturday to benefit The March of Dimes campaign for healthy babies.

The Thunderdome is the entertainment center for the ROT Rally, where there's always something going on: live music, contests, celebrity meet and greets. Get away from the heat outside in this state of the art air conditioned entertainment venue. Daily shows 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

ROT’s Got Talent -This is a variety show like no other. People will be competing for an opportunity to perform as part of our headlining concert. Thursday - Sunday (All Day.)

Tattoo Expo - It’s understood that motorcycles and tattoos share the same allure: Enjoyment of the Extreme. This year will be a marriage of those extremes with the first ever ROT Rally Tattoo Expo.

Big Texas Chop Off for American Heros - The ROT Rally highlights some of the country’s best upcoming bike builders every year and does a Give-A-Way custom bike to benefit the veterans of our country’s armed forces. Taking it a step further, this year’s judges will be the veterans and the motorcycle with the highest votes will be chosen as the prize for the give-away. Thursday - Sunday (All Day.)

Comedian Gallagher - “Engineer by training, comedian by choice," He sez, "I don't make it up, the truth is funny enough" Gallagher will be taking the stage throughout the day, Thursday - Sunday (All Day.)

Custom Baggers Showcase - Baggers are no longer “Grandpa’s bike” - They are what's happening NOW and "The “American Bagger Showcase” will feature some of America’s best Custom Baggers.

American Hellriders: Featuring The Wall of Death  - As seen on Ripley's Believe It or Not! Be amazed as Patch McGillcuttey, a wall of death rider of 14 years and professional stunt riders race their motorcycles and high-powered go-karts, reaching speeds of over 50 mph, on the side of a vertical wall.

Team FMX East: Freestyle Motorcross - FMX East will be presenting their gravity-defying "don't try this at home" tricks and stunts throughout the day, Thursday to Sunday.

Compete for 25k in the Teresi Dyno Drags - Rally fans will pit their skills against each other to determine the top 16 riders at ROT Rally, who have ridiculously fast reaction times that can stay on the throttle all out for a quarter of a mile. The Dyno Drag crew will analyze the results. If you qualify as one of the eight fastest Metric or Harley Davidson motorcycle riders, you will be invited to Sturgis for the shootout later this year where you will compete for $25,000 in cash and prizes. To compete, you must be an amateur rider on a street legal motorcycle no turbo, no NOS, no air shifters, so come test your skills and see what you and your bike can do.

At the hub of everything, look for Kimmy Cruz & The Chop Shop Girls serving drinks and having a good time at the 16th Annual ROT Rally.
