Friday, May 7th is International Female Ride Day and to celebrate this, Athena "Chickie" Ransom of Vagabond Choppers lead The Plantation Poker Run at Bike Week New Orleans.
The Poker Run began at the Bike Week Riverwalk Festival Venue at 8 a.m., with stops at New Orleans Harley-Davidson and four beautiful Louisiana plantations.
Oak Alley Plantation - on the Mississippi River between the historic Louisiana cities of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, called the “Grande Dame of the Great River Road."
San Francisco Plantation - the most opulent plantation on the Great River Road. Laura Plantation - a Creole treasure in New Orleans Plantation Country. The Destrehan Plantation - a majestic antebellum home, overlooking the banks of the mighty Mississippi.
The 2nd Bike Week New Orleans concludes on Sunday, May 9th, 2010.
