2010 Honda VFR1200 Priview

This is the latest motorcycle that is slated for release by Honda, and a picture of it has now leaked way ahead of schedule, thanks to the internet. The bike features close to 200 HP and variable cylinder management. Of course this bike will get great gas mileage, making it a good option for commuters and bikers alike.

The bike you see here is, according to MCN, the all-new V4-powered Honda VFR1200 that will go on sale next year. The bike is based on the V4 concept that was shown a few months ago and might feature bits like selectable cylinder deactivation, ride-by-wire throttle and brakes, electronically adjustable suspension, C-ABS and perhaps even an airbag. Going by the pictures here, the new Honda, with its single-sided swingarm and shaft-drive (?) looks like a sports - touring competitor to the Kawasaki 1400GTR, which could also be slated for a major update for the 2010 model year.

2009 Harley-Davidson XL1200N Nightster

Harley-Davidson 2009 XL 1200N Sportster Nightster 1200 ($9.899 - $10.389, according to the color) comprises an engine 1,200cc rubber-assembled. The retro naming selections include cuffs of fork of old school, a guard of belt of ball-hole, and a number plate side-rise.
"The XL 1200N Nightster is a blacked-out street bike that continues a half century of Sportster tradition of innovative, fun and versatile motorcycles," said Bill Davidson, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Product Development. "With loads of truly select features and components, the Nightster takes all the enhancements made to the Sportster family in recent years to an entirely different level."

This year's South Florida Ride is set for Valentine's Day. "So, please make our kids your sweetheart and help save a life," said website editor, Yuergen Boehmke. "It will be the most memorable Valentine's Day you will ever experience."

Rain or shine, registration opens at 8 a.m., Feb. 14th and closes at 9:45 a.m. with the police escorted ride departing at 10 a.m. from the (New Location) Coral Springs SportsPlex, 2575 SportsPlex Drive, just south of Sample Road and east of the Sawgrass Expressway. All motorcycle riders are welcome to participate.
