Strike Force Raptor officers have arrested two alleged members of the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle club in Sydney’s inner west and seized a small amount of drugs.
Early this morning, officers were patrolling the Petersham area when they approached a man wearing full Hells Angels colours as he left his vehicle in Margaret Street.
The man had his car were searched and police seized a small quantity of cannabis, a vial of steroids and other items. A second man who attended the scene was also searched.
The men, aged 21 and 23, were arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station where they were each issued court attendance notices for drug offences. They are due to face Newtown Local Court on 3 May.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009 and is a proactive, high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their alleged associated criminal enterprises.
