MV Agusta F4 1078 RR312 Review

It’s black as sin and topped with white like a pint of Guinness. It looks fast, it feels fast and it is fast. The big-bore F4 is in fact one of the fastest and most potent sportbikes in the world. 190 horsepower is not for the faint hearted. Back in 1997 MV Agusta was merely a name. Cagiva, headed by President Claudio Castiglioni, did not only buy the Ducati brand (1985-1996), it also purchased

Victory Motorcycles CORE concept bike will make its first European public appearance at the 2009 Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show.

Polaris Lead Industrial Designer Michael Song said “CORE is pure motorcycle. We wanted to strip everything that is not critical and build a motorcycle that borrows the production technologies we have incorporated into the Victory Vision. The frame and engine architecture of the Victory Vision was our inspiration however we wanted to make a statement beyond ‘custom’ and create something completely unique.”

Ducati Desmosedici RR Review

It doesn’t take long to be intimidated by the outrageous Desmosedici RR. If the stratospheric $72.5K price tag doesn’t get you, the menacing mechanical cacophony upon start-up will. Observers are sucker-punched straight into the gut, and the beautiful racket portends an experience unlike any production streetbike in the world. It’s quite incredible that a manufacturer has offered such a

2009 Yamaha YZ250 2-Stroke Bike Test

Professionally, the YZ250 (12) has to compete against the likes of Yamaha's YZ450F (7) and the rest of the 450 monsters. Now, with rule changes by the AMA, amateurs can race the 2-stroke in the 250F class which is much more realistic. Our quartet̢۪s throaty rumble and whir of cam chains was constantly interrupted by the zingy sound of an expansion chamber and shorty muffler. The AMA now allows

2009 Suzuki RM-Z250 Comparison

Some changes in gearing would benefit the RM-Z, blasting out of corners with more authority. In a division where motors reign supreme, the emphasis on big numbers is exaggerated. The Suzuki is right in the mix in terms of dyno peaks, but overall the RM-Z motor seemed to disappoint on the track. Not because it stinks, but because a simple gearing change was requested by all our testers, and this

Moto Guzzi Show V12 Concept Bikes

At the EICMA show, Italian motorcycle manufacturer showed off its V12 Concept bike which was show in three formats, the Moto Guzzi V12 LM, the Moto Guzzi V12 Strada and the Moto Guzzi V12 X.

Designed by renowned designer Pierre Terblanche and Miguel Galluzi, apparently to capture the essence of Moto Guzzi.

Thsee V12 prototypes have been developed around the 1,200 cc 4-valve 90-degree V-twin from Mandello. The Moto Guzzi V12 LM is billed as the Italian sportbike reinvented. Whilst the Moto Guzzi V12 Strada is claimed to be the essential bike and the most versatile model in the V12 range and final the Moto Guzzi V12 X is the "one-of-a-kind" motorcycle, true to the character of the Guzzi twin-cylinder.

It will be interesting to see whether these striking motorcycles make it into product. In the meantime we've got a few pictures for you to drool over.

2009 Kawasaki KX250F Comparison

The Kawasaki likes to be pushed hard. Our expert and pro testers found more to enjoy about the KX250F than others, especially with the stiff suspension. Second place is not the first loser. Kawasaki came to the table in 2009 with the most heavily updated model. A new chassis is supposed to be 2.2 lbs lighter with better rigidity balance. A new swingarm gets rid of another pound and the subframe

2010 KTM 690 Duke R Review and Photos

2010 KTM 690 Duke R Wallpaper

2010 KTM 690 Duke R photos

2010 KTM 690 Duke R black edition

Modification KTM 690 Duke R release with high performance.

The KTM LC4 model palette is legendary. What was set in motion for 20 years ago in Mattighofen, Austria with the development of a potent and sporty single cylinder four-stroke motor has now resulted in the company having a massive fan base. something that’s lighter and simpler than a GSX-R600 or ZX-6R (even if it’s not as powerful as those bikes) – the new KTM 690 Duke R should be an interesting optiona. Fitted with a 690cc single-cylinder engine that pumps out 70 horsepower and 70Nm of torque, the 690 Duke R, which weighs only 148 kilos dry, should be a blast in the twisties.

The 690 Duke R gets a six-speed gearbox, steel tube trellis frame, WP suspension components (48mm USD fork, Pro-Lever monoshock), Brembo braks with radial-mount four-piston callipers at the front and 17-inch wheels shod with 120/70 (front) and 160/60 (rear) rubber. We also think the little KTM looks totally cool.

Honda CRF 250 Comparasion

It's tough to find fault with the 2009 CRF250R. Fast riders notice a bog in the motor, but it wasn't a unanimous complaint. There̢۪s plenty of hype about the flagship motocrosser from Honda this year, but the 250R hasn̢۪t seen the same advancements. But the fact that the little CRF didn̢۪t get a neat fuel injection system means exactly squat in the 2009 crop of 250Fs. None of the other bikes
