H.R. 904: To prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from providing grants or any funds to a State, county, town, or township, Indian tribe, municipal or other local government to be used for any program to check helmet usage or create checkpoints for a motorcycle driver or passenger.
Cosponsorship change. Rep. Shimkus [R-IL19]: New Co-Sponsor. Rep. Walsh [R-IL8]: New Co-Sponsor.
They join Congressmen Schock and Costello as Co-Sponsors
Rep.Walsh also signed on as a Co-Sponsor to H.R. 412, the Kids Just Want to Ride bill that exempts youth OHV's from the "Lead Content Law"

SB1291, our ABATE license plate bill, in the House Rules Committee and we need to start calling your State Representatives and asking them to not only support the bill but to Sign On as a Co-Sponsor as Rep Rich Brauer and Rep Kay Hatcher have done. The more the merrier.

When you are on the phone with your State Rep tell them we OPPOSE HB1979, the E-15 ethanol bill.
HB2860, our "Dead Red Light" bill is in the Senate and has picked up as Sponsors Senators Gary Forby (chief sponsor) Bill Haine, Mike Nolan.and Tim Bivins. Senator Donnie Trotter is on board with the bill and I am hoping to pick up some more sponsors.
This bill had 11 sponsors in the House, lets match that in the Senate
