Next up in AMA sanctioned racing: The Catalina 2010 Grand Prix, Dec. 3, 4 and 5th at Catalina Island, California.
This is a one-time event. The Catalina Grand Prix is a closed-course event. The approximate 7 mile course will include natural, graded, and paved terrain (80% dirt, 20% paved). Riders are considered finishers provided they make 50% of their class leader's laps and receive the checkered flag. Due to circumstances on the island, there will be no practice and all motorcycles will be impounded, except for the actual race. All roads on the island are private and permission has been granted for their use for the actual race only. Details at: thecatalinagrandprix.com
