It wasn't on police radar before, but the North Shore Men's Motorcycle Club is now, after a weekend event by the group was attended by known biker gang members. The North Shore group held a parts swap and fundraising dinner and dance Saturday night. Several known members of the White Rock Hell's Angels Club and Kelowna puppet groups were spotted at the event. Staff Sergeant Grant Learned says the Kelowna RCMP Street Crime Unit was on the scene to assist local police. He says the bikers were identified by their patches as well as being visually recognized. He says there were no incidents at the event, but police will be keeping a watchful eye in future.
